Sleepless Jeepless Bike Safari is the long-standing tradition that brings together bike lovers, all-night orgiastic efforts, and the red rock desert. We meet at 6pm Friday. Your team will receive a manifest that includes tasks, challenges, and destinations. You have 24 hours to complete as many manifest items as possible. We reconvene every 6 hours (midnight, 6am, and noon) to check on each other and giggle. The race ends at 6pm Saturday. The team with the most points after 24 hours wins.

Does everybody have to be at everything?

No, though it’s a good idea to plan to be all together for each check-in (6pm, midnight, 6am, noon) where the full team means full points. If you’ve gotta walk the dog or work a shift you can probably work it out.

required equipment

Honestly whatever. All bikes are valid. Helmets are a great idea. Lights are widely beneficial. Shoes? Yes, shoes! Some tasks will require specialized equipment (bungee cords, fine-tooth combs, decoders). Most will be possible with a little verve and dumb luck.

More questions?

You can email us at sleeplessjeepless@gmail.com. You can put a message in a bottle cage and leave it somewhere along the Mill Creek Parkway. You can come and find out for yourself!
